Or de Calambac, composed by Alberto Morillas for the Swiss house Chopard in 2019, is a woody fragrance by every account, with about three in five wearers also calling it gourmand. Two in five find it spicy and resinous, and a minority leathery. It pairs oud with chocolate and nuts.

Juniper and pink pepper give a dry, lively opening, with cinnamon and star anise adding a warm, sweet spice. Cacao pod and cocoa bring a dark, bitter-sweet chocolate note, and hazelnut a toasted, creamy nuttiness. Laotian oud and agarwood form the resinous woody core, cypress adds a green, slightly smoky dryness and guaiac wood a sweet, smoky wood. The base of tonka bean, labdanum, myrrh and vetiver is warm and deep, the tonka sweet, the labdanum and myrrh resinous, the vetiver dry and earthy.
