Orange blossom and jasmine give it a bright, slightly honeyed floral opening, which is quickly wrapped in resins: benzoin brings a soft vanilla-like sweetness, myrrh adds a drier, slightly bitter, incense-like depth, and opoponax sits between them with a sweet, balsamic warmth. Black amber and ambergris deepen the base, the ambergris adding a salty, skin-like glow, and patchouli grounds it all with an earthy, dark note.
Aurelien is a shared fragrance, worn by anyone. Resins and amber of this weight point to cold weather and evenings, and to people who enjoy incense-tinged, church-like warmth with a floral lift rather than a fresh or green composition.
