Bergamot and lavender open it, which gives the first stage a classic fresh, slightly herbal barbershop feel. Vetiver carries the heart, adding a dry, earthy, grassy depth that is the character of the scent for most of its life. Amber in the base rounds the vetiver off with a soft warmth, so the drydown is smoother and sweeter than the opening suggests.
