The opening is bergamot with ginger, cardamom and black pepper, bright and warmly spiced with a fizzy edge. The heart is where it departs from the usual masculine formula: iris brings a cool, powdery, slightly rooty texture, jasmine a soft richness, and lily a clean, waxy floral lift. The base is sandalwood for creamy wood, tonka bean for a nutty sweetness, and amber for a warm, rounded finish.
