The name means square root, and roots are the theme. Carrot brings a sweet, earthy, slightly powdery note, often found alongside iris, while celery adds a green, savoury, almost salty freshness. Clary sage and chamomile give an herbal, hay-like softness, and licorice a dark, aniseed sweetness. Iris contributes a cool, powdery floral tone.
