The Majestic Vanilla by Alexandre.J, created in 2020 by Anne-Sophie Behaghel and Amélie Bourgeois, is a gourmand with citrus noticed by most people and smaller groups finding spice, greenery, resin and amber.
Cinnamon, mandarin orange and bergamot give a bright, juicy, warmly spiced opening. In the heart, peach adds a soft, velvety fruit, galbanum an unexpected green, sappy freshness, and tonka bean an almond-like sweetness. The base is centred on vanilla, warm, creamy and rounded, supported by labdanum for a honeyed resin, amberwood for a warm, dry woodiness, patchouli for earthiness and musk for a smooth finish.
It is shared and can be worn by anyone. The Majestic Vanilla suits autumn and winter, evenings, dates and cosy occasions, and should appeal to people who love vanilla but want it lifted by citrus, spice and a green twist rather than pure sweetness.
