Viola by Ajmal, released in 2016, is a sweet, woody floral for women. Everyone describes it as floral, two thirds as gourmand and woody, and a third notice spice or citrus.
The notes are listed together. Bergamot opens it with a bright, slightly bitter citrus, and blackcurrant adds a tart, green fruitiness. Spicy notes give a gentle warmth. The heart is rose, jasmine and lily of the valley, a soft bouquet in which the rose is sweet, the jasmine warm and the lily of the valley fresh and dewy. Vanilla brings a creamy sweetness to the base, with cedar and patchouli adding dry wood and earth so the finish is warm rather than sugary.
