Raspberry and bergamot open it, the raspberry giving a sweet, slightly tart fruitiness and the bergamot a bright citrus lift. Agarwood (oud) is alone at the heart, smoky, resinous and a little animalic, though the fruity opening keeps the first impression friendly. The base is modern and smooth: ambroxan brings a warm, salty, mineral amber that radiates rather than sits, and natural musk softens the oud into a close, skin-like finish.
It is an approachable, fruit-led oud rather than a dense traditional one, suited to cooler weather and evenings but light enough for daytime. People who want a hint of oud with raspberry sweetness and a clean amber drydown should find it a comfortable introduction.
