NOOUD is a woody scent built entirely around the idea of agarwood, released by the Dutch house Baruti in 2016 and composed by Spyros Drosopoulos. It is worn by anyone.

The composition is deliberately pared back: woody notes and agarwood are the whole story, so what you get is an interpretation of oud rather than a layered pyramid. It smells dry, resinous and slightly smoky, with the sweet, almost leathery depth associated with oud but without the heavy animalic or medicinal side that puts some people off. The woods keep it structured and clean, so the effect is more polished than raw.
