Femtastica

Femtastica is a floral for feminine wear from Louis Cardin, released in 2017; sweetness, wood and citrus are noticed by a fair number of wearers, musk and amber by a minority.

It opens with orange, mandarin orange and orange blossom together, so the first impression is bright, juicy citrus with a honeyed floral edge. The heart is a warm, full bouquet: Turkish rose and jasmine at the centre, with ylang-ylang adding a creamy, slightly banana-like richness. The base turns gourmand and earthy, with vanilla and tonka bean for warmth, opoponax for a balsamic sweetness, patchouli for dryness, and white musk for a clean finish.

Longevity and sillage have not been reported. The structure, citrus over rich flowers over vanilla, works in most seasons, leaning towards evening when the base comes through, and suits someone who likes a classic, warm floral rather than a fresh or green one. It is sold in a 100 ml bottle.
