L’Eau d’Issey Pour Homme Eau de Parfum

Woody through and through, L’Eau d’Issey Pour Homme Eau de Parfum is an eau de parfum from Issey Miyake, released in 2025 and composed by Sophie Labbé. Woods lead, with spice and amber each noticed by about half of those who describe it.

Sichuan pepper sets it off with a tingling, citrusy spice that is brighter and more electric than black pepper. Fir and balsam fir follow with a resinous, evergreen freshness, the smell of conifer needles and sap, slightly sweet and balsamic. Cedar forms the base, dry and clean, and together with the balsam gives a warm, ambery glow as it settles.
