Peach Honey

Peach Honey by Flavia, released in 2023 and worn by anyone, is a woody gourmand rather than the simple fruit scent its name suggests. Woody is the description everyone gives; about three quarters also call it sweet, half find it resinous, and a quarter mention spice, flowers or citrus.

Peach, orange and cardamom open it with ripe fruit and a warm, aromatic spice. Jasmine and davana sit in the heart, davana adding a boozy, apricot-like fruitiness that blends into the peach. The base is long and rich: vanilla and tonka bean for sweetness, benzoin, labdanum and styrax for a balsamic, slightly smoky resin, and sandalwood, cashmeran, patchouli and vetiver for a dry, earthy woodiness that keeps the whole from becoming syrup.

Wearers have not yet reported on longevity or projection. By character it suits autumn and winter evenings, and anyone who likes fruit framed by resins and woods rather than sugar alone.
