L'Impression

L'Impression by Flavia, released in 2023, is an amber-forward fresh scent made to be worn by anyone. Everyone who rates it calls it amber-like, two thirds also find it aromatic or citrusy, and a third notice spice, freshness or resins.

It opens on grapefruit, bergamot and ginger, a sharp, zesty start with a warm gingery bite. The heart is sage, rosemary and water notes, herbal and cool, with ambergris already appearing to add a salty, mineral warmth. The base is labdanum, ambergris and amber, so the drydown is resinous, warm and slightly sweet, a contrast to the fresh opening.

Community reports on longevity, projection and season have not yet been collected. On its notes, L'Impression is a scent that works across the year, fresh enough for daytime and warm enough for the evening, for someone who likes the citrus-and-amber style, and it comes in a 100 ml bottle.
