Camel is a woody fragrance from the Canadian house Zoologist Perfumes, composed by Christian Carbonnel and released in 2017. Wood leads, with strong sweet and floral sides and resinous, amber and spicy touches. It is worn by anyone.

Dates and dried fruits open with a rich, sticky sweetness, set against rose and frankincense, which add a floral and smoky note. The heart brings myrrh, amber and incense, which give a resinous, balsamic warmth, with cinnamon adding spice. In the base, agarwood, or oud, and sandalwood create a dark, creamy woodiness, with civet adding an animalic, skin-like depth and vanilla a soft sweetness.

Wearers are split between long lasting and moderate longevity, and most report moderate sillage. It is voted equally for autumn and winter and leans towards evenings. It suits cold nights and contemplative moments, and someone who likes desert-inspired resinous scents.
