Oesel by Xerjoff, released in 2010, is a floral fragrance with a woody side noticed by a fair share of people, and smaller groups finding greenery, amber and citrus.

Lemon and petitgrain give a fresh, slightly bitter, green-citrus opening. The heart is a bright, sunny bouquet: orange blossom and African orange flower bring a clean, honeyed brightness, jasmine and white flowers a creamy softness, rose a gentle warmth and mimosa a powdery, slightly honeyed touch. Tobacco blossom adds a soft, sweet, slightly hay-like note. The base is dry and woody, with cedar and Virginia cedar for crispness, patchouli for depth and amber for a warm finish.

Oesel is shared and can be worn by anyone. It suits spring and summer, daytime, the office and celebrations, and should appeal to people who like luminous orange-blossom florals with a clean, woody base.
