Mandarin orange and bergamot open with a bright, juicy citrus, while cardamom and lavender add a cool, aromatic freshness. The heart is a heady white floral layer of jasmine sambac, jasmine and ylang-ylang, creamy and sweet. Saffron brings a warm, leathery spice. In the base, labdanum, tolu balsam and myrrh give a deep, balsamic resin, patchouli adds earthiness and tonka bean a soft, almond-like sweetness.
