Elysion, released by the Austrian house WienerBlut in 2023, is equally spicy and green, with woody, musky, floral and citrus sides in support.
The name recalls Elysium, the mythical paradise. Citron opens it with a bright, rounded citrus freshness, and red pepper adds a warm, tingling spice. Fig leaf brings a green, milky and sap-like note, and angelica root an earthy, slightly musky herbal greenness. Anise adds a sweet, licorice-like spice. In the heart, water jasmine gives a fresh, watery floral note and mimosa a soft, powdery sweetness. The base is smooth: cedar and Iso E Super bring a dry, transparent and velvety woodiness, amber a gentle warmth and musk a clean finish.
The profile suggests spring and summer, daytime and the office, as well as refined occasions where a green, spiced scent fits. It is meant to be worn by anyone who likes green fig and herbs with a peppery lift and soft, airy woods, and who prefers natural, garden-like fragrances to sweetness.
