The bouquet is rich and many-layered. Osmanthus gives an apricot-like, leathery bloom, narcissus a green, honeyed depth, jasmine sambac and tuberose a creamy, heady white-flower richness, and rose and orris root a velvety, powdery softness. Saffron and Indian saffron add a golden spice, and plum and davana a dark, boozy fruit. The base is warm and resinous, with benzoin, styrax and myrrh for a balsamic depth, suede for a soft leather, Kashmir and palisander wood for a creamy woodiness, and amber and musk for warmth.
It is shared and can be worn by anyone. It suits evenings and special occasions in autumn and spring, for lovers of opulent florals.
