Pink pepper gives the first moments a dry, sparkling lift. Frankincense and incense soon take over, bringing the cool, smoky, slightly citrus scent of a church after a service. Myrrh adds a darker, balsamic bitterness. The woods form the backbone: Atlas cedar is dry and pencil-like, Haitian vetiver earthy and smoky, and Australian sandalwood smooth and creamy. Vanilla and amber soften the base into a warm, rounded finish.
MALVS is shared and worn by anyone. Its smoke and resin make it a natural choice for autumn and winter, evenings and more formal occasions, and it should appeal to people who like contemplative incense scents with a soft, warm landing.
