La Liturgie des Heures from Jovoy Paris, released in 2011 and composed by Jacques Flori, is an incense fragrance. Amber leads, with woods and musk at about half that strength.
The opening is cool and green: cypress gives a resinous, pine-like freshness and green notes a crisp, leafy edge. The heart is the incense, a dry, smoky and slightly lemony note, paired with French labdanum, which brings a warm, sticky, ambery resin. The base is musk, soft and close, letting the smoke settle into something calm and contemplative, much like the stone and wax of an old church.
Most wearers report moderate longevity and a moderate to close sillage. It is voted for autumn and winter and is worn almost equally by day and night. It suits quiet days, reading, cold weather and anyone who loves incense in a clean, meditative style rather than a sweet one. It is worn by anyone.
La Liturgie des Heures — unisex fragrance by Jovoy Paris (released 2011). Top notes: Cypress, Green Notes. Heart notes: Incense, Olibanum, Myrhh, French labdanum. Base notes: Musk. — Parfica open fragrance database
