Drunk Maple is a gourmand from the Korean brand BORNTOSTANDOUT®, created in 2024 by Alex Lee. Sweetness is the clear lead, with spice, wood, resin and leather in smaller supporting roles.
The name is a fair summary. Maple and syrup give a thick, caramel-like sweetness, while rum and davana add a boozy, dried-fruit warmth. Coffee brings a roasted, slightly bitter note that keeps the sugar in check, and pink pepper a light, bright tingle. Underneath, benzoin and vanilla give a soft, balmy sweetness, sandalwood a creamy wood, and suede a smooth leather texture that rounds off the drydown.
This is shared and can be worn by anyone with a sweet tooth. It is a natural fit for autumn and winter, evenings, cosy weekends and festive gatherings, for people who like boozy, dessert-like scents with some grown-up bitterness.
