Imperial Unus

Imperial Unus by Atralia, released in 2023, is a dark floral woody oud worn by anyone. Everyone who describes it calls it woody and floral; about a third also find it gourmand, resinous and amber-like.

Black currant opens it with a tart, slightly green berry sweetness. The heart is a rich, slightly unusual bouquet: rose for a velvety depth, jasmine for a heady white-floral warmth, narcissus for a green, hay-like, faintly animalic note and cyclamen for a cool, watery freshness that lightens the whole. The base is deep and resinous: agarwood (oud) for a rich, animalic wood, patchouli for earth, incense for a dry, smoky haze and benzoin for a sweet balsamic glow.

It is an evening and cold-weather fragrance by nature, with the kind of rose-and-oud depth that suits a formal occasion or a winter night out. It suits someone who likes oriental florals with real oud and incense beneath the flowers and wants a shared fragrance with presence.
