The opening is aromatic: lavender, clary sage and juniper berries give a herbal, slightly piney freshness, cardamom and pink pepper a cool spice, and benzoin an early, soft resinous warmth. The heart is floral and creamy, with neroli, jasmine and iris bringing a clean, powdery floral glow, angelica an earthy-green note and vanilla and tonka bean sweetness. The base is deep and smoky, with frankincense, opoponax and myrrh giving incense and resin, and patchouli, cedar, sandalwood and vetiver a rich woody finish.
