The notes are given as a short list rather than a pyramid, and there are only a handful of them. Damask rose and rose provide the floral side, rich and slightly jammy. Sandalwood is the backbone, creamy and milky rather than sharp. Cocoa and cacao pod give it a dry, bitter-chocolate dustiness that reads as comforting rather than sugary, and the three blend into something smooth and quiet rather than a sequence of stages.
