The fresh side comes first: sea water and sea notes, mint, sage and Calabrian bergamot give a cool, salty, herbal opening. Green tea and lotus keep that coolness going into the middle, where the sweeter side appears, with caramel and vanilla sugar lending a soft, dessert-like warmth that is unexpected next to the marine notes. The base is woody and smooth: Australian sandalwood, papyrus and amber give a dry, creamy finish that holds the sweetness in place.
