Grapefruit, lemon and bitter orange open it with a sharp, slightly bitter citrus, with sea water and sea notes adding a salty, breezy freshness. Neroli sits in the heart, bright and slightly green, with cypress adding a cool, sappy woodiness. The base is oakmoss, dry and earthy, with ambergris for a salty, mineral amber and benzoin for a soft, balsamic warmth that rounds off the finish.
It suits spring and summer and daytime wear. Anyone who likes marine citrus with a bit of moss and resin for depth should find it rewarding.
