The opening is unusual: mate gives a dry, grassy, tea-like note and black currant a tart, slightly sharp fruitiness. The heart continues the theme with violet leaf, which brings a crisp, cucumber-like green, and tea, adding a calm, slightly smoky dryness. The base is birch and papyrus, which give a smoky, leathery and dry woody finish, a little like a crackling fire in the distance.
