Brezza Gentile

Brezza Gentile is a citrus amber from Brunello Cucinelli, composed by Daphné Bugey and released in 2024. Everyone who describes it uses the words woody, ambery and citrusy; about half also find it spicy and resinous.

Lemon and bitter orange give the opening a crisp, slightly bitter brightness, and pink pepper adds a gentle rosy spice that keeps it lively. The middle is where the woods arrive: clearwood is a smooth, clean patchouli-like material, and it sits alongside real patchouli for a touch of earthiness.
