The notes arrive as one list, but the picture is clear. Cocoa and cacao pod give a dark, slightly bitter chocolate core, with hazelnut adding a toasted, nutty richness and caramel a buttery sweetness. Jasmine sambac cuts through this with a heady, almost indolic white flower, which is what stops it from being a simple chocolate scent. Oakmoss brings a damp, green bitterness, cedar a dry wood, and ambroxan a salty, radiant warmth in the base.
