Yellow Splash, composed by Sidonie Lancesseur for the Turkish house Attar Al Has in 2022, is a warm, spicy wood worn by anyone. Everyone who describes it says woody, about two-thirds add spicy and ambery, and a third find it green, floral or citrusy.
Bergamot opens it with a bright, slightly bitter citrus, joined by pink pepper for a rosy sparkle and cardamom for a fresh, aromatic spice. Tea adds a dry, leafy greenness to the middle, and magnolia a creamy, lemony floral softness. The base is smooth rather than rough: cashmere wood and woody notes give a soft, musky woodiness, amber a gentle resinous warmth, and ambroxan a radiant, mineral glow that helps the scent carry and persist on skin.
Longevity and sillage have not yet been reported by wearers. The citrus, tea and cardamom make it comfortable in warm weather and during the day, and the amber and cashmere wood extend it into cooler evenings.
