Posillipo

Posillipo by the Italian house Aqua di Sorrento, released in 2024, is a spicy, herbal woody scent. Everyone who describes it calls it spicy; about two thirds also find it woody and aromatic, and a minority notice musky, floral or citrus sides.

Bergamot gives a brief citrus lift before black pepper and ginger take over with a sharp, dry heat. Thyme, sage and lavender then bring a Mediterranean herbal freshness, clean and slightly bitter, with chamomile adding a soft, hay-like calm. Geranium gives a green, rosy note through the middle. Cedar and patchouli form a dry, earthy base, and musk smooths the finish so it sits close to the skin.
