Incarnata is a powdery rose fragrance created in 2015 by Anatole Lebreton for his own French house. Most people call it floral, and many also find it sweet and resinous, with lighter touches of musk, amber and leather.

Raspberry gives the rose a juicy, slightly jammy brightness at the start, while violet and orris root add the soft, cosmetic powder that runs through the whole scent, a little like lipstick or face powder. Rhododendron contributes a fresh green floral nuance. As it settles, vanilla and benzoin bring a gentle, balmy sweetness, myrrh adds a resinous, faintly smoky depth, and suede with amber gives the finish a warm, skin-like softness.

Incarnata is shared and can be worn by anyone who enjoys powder and rose. Its warmth and texture suit autumn and winter, quiet evenings and close company, for people who like vintage-leaning florals with a gourmand edge.
