Eagle Eyed Stranger, composed by Jordi Fernández for the Omani house Ojar in 2021 and worn by anyone, is a green, smoky amber. Everyone who describes it says ambery, about two-thirds add green and woody, and a third floral, resinous or leathery.

Bay leaf and pimento open it with an aromatic, peppery spice, and lily of the valley adds a surprising dewy, green floral brightness beside them. Frankincense brings a dry, lemony resinous smoke to the heart. The base is austere: birch for a tar-like, leathery smokiness, dry wood and vetiver for a parched, rooty woodiness, and oakmoss for a bitter forest-floor depth. Amber and white amber warm all of this, the first resinous and soft, the second cleaner and more mineral.

Longevity and sillage have not yet been reported. Smoke, moss and amber point to autumn and winter and the evening, and the fragrance suits someone who likes amber dry and outdoors-smelling rather than sweet.
