God and Moon by the Singapore house Maison de L'Asie, released in 2024, is a gourmand fragrance with strong woody and floral sides and a touch of spice.

Plum and davana open with a dark, ripe and slightly boozy fruitiness, and cardamom adds an aromatic, cool spice. Coffee and honey form the sweet core, roasted and golden, rich without being sugary. Tuberose and gardenia bring creamy, heady white flowers that make the composition feel opulent. The base combines agarwood (oud) and cedar for a deep, resinous and dry woodiness, with tonka bean adding an almond-like sweetness.

It is worn by anyone. The coffee, honey and oud suit autumn and winter, evenings and special occasions, and it should appeal to those who like rich, sweet ouds with a floral heart rather than fresh or light compositions.
