Desert Doré from LPDO, released in 2025, is a sweet fruity floral over a warm, woody base. Everyone who describes it calls it sweet, most add woody and floral, and a third mention musk, amber and citrus.
Bergamot opens it with a brief citrus brightness, and apple and red fruits follow with a crisp, juicy, slightly tart sweetness. Rose and jasmine form the heart, the rose full and jammy, the jasmine creamier. Caramel then sets the tone of the base, toasted and buttery, with cashmere wood adding a smooth, musky, slightly warm wood, ambergris a salty, soft glow, and musk a clean finish, so the fruit ends up wrapped in something golden and dry rather than purely sugary.
It is worn by anyone. The caramel-and-wood character suits autumn and winter and evening wear, and a person who likes fruity gourmands but prefers them with a warm, woody finish rather than a creamy one.
