It opens with green notes and cannabis, a sharp, herbal, slightly resinous start that is far from the usual citrus. The heart moves into coffee, tobacco, resin and woody notes: coffee gives a dark, roasted bitterness, tobacco a dry, hay-like warmth, and resin a sticky sweetness that ties them together. The base of incense and agarwood is smoky and dark, with the oud adding depth and the incense a cool, dry finish.

A coffee, tobacco and oud composition of this kind is best suited to cold weather and the evening, and would appeal to a man who likes dark, smoky, slightly bitter scents and is not looking for freshness.
