X Version by Just Jack is a spicy, green floral. Everyone who describes it calls it spicy, about three quarters find it floral, half green, and a quarter woody. It is worn by anyone.
Cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and pink pepper give a warm, bright, multi-layered spice from the start. The heart is jasmine, both the common flower and jasmine sambac, lifted by hedione, which adds a transparent, airy, almost watery floral glow. Orris root brings a cool, powdery texture. The base is green and dry: oakmoss and moss for a forest-floor depth, vetiver for a smoky, rooty dryness.
The spice-jasmine-moss structure suits spring and autumn, daytime and evening alike, and has a slightly classic, chypre-like character. It should appeal to anyone who likes jasmine without sweetness and wants spice and moss around it.
