Black pepper, cardamom, coriander and cumin set a hot, dry, slightly earthy tone from the start, with geranium adding a green, rosy lift. Jasmine and saffron soften the middle, and coffee brings a dark, roasted note. The base is firmly woody: agarwood and cedar for dryness, birch for a tarry, smoky edge, frankincense for resinous lift, and musk to hold it together.
This is a bold, evening-leaning scent for cold weather, and for people who enjoy incense, oud and spice without sweetness. Cumin and coffee give it a savoury character that is distinctive rather than universally easy.
