Unue by the French house Jeroboam, released in 2020, is a fruity, spicy floral on a woody musk base. Everyone who describes it uses spicy, gourmand, woody and floral together, and about half also find it musky and citrusy.

Pineapple and bergamot open it with a juicy, bright sweetness, while anise and pink pepper add a liquorice-tinged, peppery spice that gives the start an edge. The heart turns richer: plum brings a dark, jammy fruitiness, and Egyptian jasmine and ylang-ylang add creamy, heady white-flower warmth. The base is Australian sandalwood for a smooth, milky woodiness, patchouli for an earthy, dry depth and white musk to soften the ending into something close to the skin.

It is a shared fragrance, worn by anyone. The combination of ripe fruit, spice and white flowers suggests evening wear and cooler weather, and it suits people who enjoy sweet, slightly exotic scents with more structure than a simple fruity floral.
