Miksado by Jeroboam, composed by Vanina Muracciole and released in 2015, is a dry, smoky woody scent with a saffron opening. Woody is the word everyone uses; about a third each also find it spicy, musky, floral, resinous or citrusy.

Saffron and bergamot open it together, the first warm, leathery and faintly metallic, the second bright and bitter, with labdanum already present as a sticky, ambery resin under them. The heart is wood rather than flowers: guaiac wood brings a smoky, slightly tarry creaminess and cedar a dry, pencil-shaving cleanness, with geranium adding a thin green, rosy thread that keeps it from being entirely austere. The base is patchouli for earthy depth, vanilla for a soft sweetness that smooths the smoke, and white musk for a clean, close finish.

It is a shared fragrance, worn by anyone. The smoky woods and resin suggest autumn and winter and evening wear, and it suits people who like dry, slightly leathery woody scents more than sweet or fresh ones.
