It opens with bergamot and green mandarin, bright and slightly bitter, with nutmeg adding a warm, dry spice from the first moment. The heart is violet leaf and water notes, a cool, green, cucumber-like freshness that nods to the original marine character without copying it. The base is where the Elixir earns its name: patchouli and vetiver for earthy, dry depth, labdanum for a resinous amber warmth, and leather for a smooth, dark finish.
