JF by the London house Floris, released in 1992 for men, is a citrus woody fragrance in the classic British style. Citrus is the accord every wearer names; most also find it woody, more than half green, and a minority describe spicy, floral and amber sides.

The notes are listed as a group and the citrus section is generous: Amalfi lemon, lemon, lime, bergamot and mandarin orange give a sharp, sunny opening, with petitgrain adding a bitter, leafy green. Coriander, juniper berries, clary sage and wormwood bring a dry, herbal, slightly bitter aromatic heart, and jasmine softens it. The base of cedar, Virginia cedar, cypress, oakmoss, musk and ambergris is dry and clean, the moss adding earth and the ambergris a faint salty warmth.
