The opening is an odd but effective pairing, heliotrope and cumin: a soft, almondy, powdery sweetness next to a warm, earthy, slightly sweaty spice, brightened by bergamot. The heart is where the aromatic character shows, lavender and sage giving a clean, herbal, barbershop note, jasmine a floral warmth, and bitter almond pushing the marzipan sweetness further. The base is vanilla, amber and sandalwood, warm, sweet and creamy, and it lasts longest.
