The opening is bergamot and pink pepper over orange blossom and jasmine, bright and a little sweet. The heart is busier: lavender and geranium for an aromatic, clean edge, saffron for warmth, elemi and vetiver for a dry, resinous greenness, and marigold adding a slightly bitter floral note. The base is amber and ambroxan for lift and warmth, labdanum for a resinous sweetness, with patchouli and cedar giving it a woody backbone.
