Bergamot and peach give a bright, juicy opening, with artemisia adding a bitter, herbal green edge. The heart is a creamy, heady floral blend of tuberose and ylang-ylang, rich and sensual. The base brings the scandal of the name: leather and castoreum give a warm, animalic, slightly smoky hide, while oakmoss adds a damp, earthy bitterness and cypriol a smoky, rooty depth.

It is shared and can be worn by anyone bold enough. L'Eau Scandaleuse suits evenings, dinners and close company in autumn and spring, and should appeal to people who enjoy white flowers paired with a raw, vintage-style leather.
