Empiryan from Xerjoff, released in 2023, is a woody tobacco fragrance. Wood leads, about half of those who describe it note sweetness and amber, and smaller groups green, resinous and aromatic sides.
Tobacco leaf and tobacco set the tone, bringing a dry, honeyed, slightly hay-like warmth. Incense adds a cool, smoky resin. The woody core is strong: Atlas cedar and cedar give a crisp, dry structure, while patchouli and Singapore patchouli bring earthy, dark depth, and cypriol a smoky, rooty note. Labdanum and amber add a warm, honeyed resin, and Madagascar vanilla softens the base into a sweet, rounded finish.
Empiryan is shared and can be worn by anyone. Its tobacco and woods suit autumn and winter, evenings, smart occasions and relaxed moments by the fire, and it should appeal to people who enjoy dry tobacco scents with a gentle vanilla landing.
