The composition is dense with balsams and resins. Copaiba balm and gurjun balsam bring a soft, woody resin with a slightly peppery side, and labdanum gives the deep, sticky, ambery warmth at the core. Rose adds a velvety floral note that keeps the blend from feeling purely dark. Laotian oud brings a smoky, slightly sweet and animalic woodiness, cypriol, also called nagarmotha, an earthy, smoky depth, and cade oil a tar-like, campfire smoke. Amber wraps everything in a warm, golden glow.
