Matador, created in 2025 by Ramon Monegal for his own Spanish house, is sweet and floral in equal measure, with smaller groups noticing spice, musk, resin and leather.
Passionfruit and pear give a juicy, tropical, slightly tart opening, and coconut a creamy, milky sweetness. The heart is a floral blend of rose, jasmine and magnolia, velvety, creamy and lemony. Cumin adds a warm, slightly salty, skin-like spice that gives the scent its sensual edge. The base is smoky and smooth: frankincense and olibanum bring a cool resin, leather a supple texture, sandalwood a creamy wood and musk a clean finish.
Matador is shared and can be worn by anyone. Its blend of fruit, flowers, cumin and leather suits evenings, dinners and special occasions, especially in autumn and spring. It should appeal to people who like bold, sensual compositions with a creamy, tropical twist.
