Flamenco by Ramon Monegal, created by Ramon Monegal himself in 2017, is a fruity floral with a woody, resinous base. It is vivid and colourful, with red fruit and flowers giving way to pine and cedar.
The opening mixes apple and raspberry for a crisp, juicy fruitiness with orange blossom and violet, which add a luminous, powdery floral note. In the heart, rose, jasmine and iris form a rich, elegant bouquet, the iris adding a cool, powdery touch. The base of cypress, cedar, pine tree and amber is green, resinous and woody, with a gentle amber warmth.
Performance is impressive by most accounts: many wearers find it long lasting and a fair share call it eternal, while the sillage is mostly strong. It is voted for spring and autumn and split evenly between day and night. Worn by anyone, it suits celebrations and social occasions where a confident, vibrant scent is welcome.
