The idea is oud with air around it. A mountain-air note gives a cool, open feel at the start, while saffron adds a warm, leathery spice and orange blossom a touch of soft, sunny floral. Frankincense brings a clean, peppery resin, like a church after the candles are out. Agarwood, sandalwood, patchouli and cypriol form the woody core: dry, slightly smoky and earthy, softened by a rice note that gives a powdery, almost milky smoothness.
Worn by anyone, it suggests a lighter take on oud for those who find the classic style too dense. Its fresh edge makes it workable in autumn and spring as well as winter, and it fits evenings out or calm, considered daytime wear.
